So I installed heros of might and magic III and initially it worked
wonderfully but recently it has been lagging terribly i haven't changed my
system at all since the installation. when i launch from a terminal the only
fixme's i get are:
fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x33f8b8,0x00000000), stub!
fixme:xrandr:X11DRV_XRandR_SetCurrentMode Cannot change screen BPP from 32
to 16

no but i did a little more snooping and fount that my memory is very active
whenever the game is running so the lag may be from my computer using too
much swap instead of the RAM. however i don't know why it would do this. the
game only requires 32MB of RAM and i have 1GB so it shouldn't be
swapping....
