Steam Problem

Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I Have a macbook pro with Mountain Lion 10.8.2. I really want to play some window games on steam. I've used Wine some with Linux so i'm pretty familiar with it. I installed Wine on my Mac with Macports using this tutorial: http://www.davidbaumgold.com/tutorials/wine-mac/#part-0

I ran the 'winetricks --no-isolate steam' command on terminal and it downloads and runs the installer.. then steam launches.. updates 100% and... nothing... Xquartz is still running it's just nothing is happening. I'm sure this is a really noob question and i'm over looking something obvious. Thanks in advance!

Make sure your running XQuartz 2.7.4+ or it won't work right at all on 10.8.2+ (and 10.7.5+)
