Hello,
i play the game War of the Immortals. The Game works without problems. But after 5 minutes Desktop Freezes and nothing works anymore no keyboard nothing the only thing i can do is pressing the power button. I started the game through the terminal to see if any errors appears but nothing. Anybody an idea?
I am using xubuntu 12.04 with latest amd drivers. I try wine 1.5.13 and the latest stable on both i have the pc freeze. So i think it's not wine version related. I try to use a virtual desktop but no effect. I try also native linux 3d games to see if it's driver related but there i have no problems.

System hangs are almost always due to graphics driver
bugs, though they can also be caused by running out
of memory, sound driver bugs, or kernel driver bugs.
What graphics card? Which drivers?
If you run it in a virtual desktop, and watch the console output, do you see anything when the hang happens?
