world of warcraft and wine configuration

Post by interferenza »

Greetings friends :)

i run wow with wine from the windows partition.
The game run fine, but it is a little slow, plus some command dont work (for example the character dont move if i push the right and left mouse button at same time like it should, and the ì key dont work).

Now, the command i use to make it run is the following
wine /media/arkindal/Programmi/World\ of\ Warcraft//Wow.exe -opengl
what should i type in "path" in the screen shown in the image

to be sure wine use all it should use from the correct partition?
Thanks to everyone for reading :)

You should leave that path alone.

Generally, you should run an application's installer with Wine and leave your Windows partition alone.

You should let Blizzard know that you would like to run WoW natively
under Linux. This is their address:
http://us.blizzard.com/support/webform-us.xml?gameId=0

Tell them that the game runs with minor problems under Linux and that
you would enjoy it much better with native support.
