Assassin's Creed White Screen Problem

I installed Assassin's Creed through WINE. The installation went fine.
I start the game, and I can skip the intro. But when i do, the Assassin's Creed logo starts to fade in, but stops on a white screen. I can hear the background music, but i can't do anything.
Anything I can do to try and get the game running?
If you need any information, let me know and I'll try and get that for you.

Do you know if anyone managed to fix this bug, because ive got the same problem and i cant find a way to fix it.

If you have a recent AMD graphics chip:
Supposedly the AMD 12.6 beta drivers fixed the problem for one user.
They're up to 12.8 stable now, you can download it at
