Ubuntu + wine = sound disappear

I have been using ubuntu 8.04 and sound is working.
I need to install one windows game for my daughter and I decide to install wine
I succeeded install wine and a game.
I try to open game and it working without sound / audio
And sound also disappear in whole my ubuntu.

I am newbie please help.

New ubuntu uses pulseaudio which conflicts with Wine. Disable it/stop it/remove it or you won't get any sound in Wine
