modo

Post by jaso »

Hello. My name is Jason.

I purchased modo 201 in 2005 for around the nine hundred dollar mark and have been a registered user ever since.

Would I need to upgrade to 302 if I were to attempt to run Wine on an ARes machine?

Did any one ever work on the full version of 203?

What does bronze indicate? Maybe 70% compatible? I tried the Wiki, but my Win7/32 browser says, "Internet Explorer cannot display webpage"

Thank you very much! Jason

Did you try to run your current version in Wine? If not, try. If something does not work, search Bugzilla and if you think you found unknown bug, report it.

It means that even with some workarounds the application does not work perfectly. But in this case, it is meaningless because test results for Modo of any version in the AppDB are very old, it could be platinum or garbage with current Wine. You have to try yourself and find out. You can help us by updating AppDB with your test results.

OK. Thank you.

I have an Amiga box which is out of state. If I get that one back or purchase the ARes, I will definitely give this a try. It appears one would need to test all the features of modo, something that would work in my case, as I am still learning modo and would constantly be trying each feature. (A situation which makes a perfect match for Wine)

Is there a Wine "store" or facility where users can meet to test these things out on pre-existing machines? I find the idea of beta testing software that would help all users an enormous asset. Are ya'll going to be opening a store (full of different computer hardware), and if so, let me be the first to volunteer!)

OK Thank you very much! Jason

PS Responding is unnecessary, time allowing. This case is resolved.
