I'm trying to install a Windows program via WINE from an ISO file in Linux Puppy.
When I click the ISO it mounts and a folder of its contents opens. I then click the EXE installation file and the installation program starts okay through WINE. However before installation begins it tells me to insert the original CD (I don't have a CD-rom drive on my laptop which is why I'm trying to install from the ISO).
I had this same problem when I tried to install the program in Windows from the extracted ISO files rather than by mounting the ISO as a "ghost" CD-rom, using a program for doing this.
So it seems I need to make the installation EXE believe that the mounted ISO is a CD-Rom drive in order for it to install. Does anyone know how I am able to do this?
Thanks.

Try mounting it with cdemu.noro wrote: I had this same problem when I tried to install the program in Windows from the extracted ISO files rather than by mounting the ISO as a "ghost" CD-rom, using a program for doing this.
