How to point to a internal drive in Wine to back up data

Post by WM7793 »

I am using a database program under WINE, which I would like to back up to an internal hard drive used only for data.

When prompted for a location, I do not see the hard drive within any the folders.

Linux currently sees the hard drive, and I am able to save data from Libreoffice etc.

Where would I look to find the drive (c) or (Z)? or would I have to do something within WINE to see the internal data drive.

Many thanks in response.

Best regards,

Assuming it's mounted when you start Wine, you should find it in Z:.

Thank you dimesio for your reply.
I have pointed the software to Z drive, but the back up data disk does not appear to exist. I have opened the folders within Z hoping that the internal drive would appear, but to no avail.

What could I be doing wrong here?
