Hi All,
Just wondering about winetricks. Is it still maintained?
(Could not get ie7, ie8, or flash to install correctly.)

It is well maintained, make sure you have the latest version from
http://code.google.com/p/winetricks/
And report any issue you may have there to see them resolved quickly.

I'm not sure it's *well* maintained
But I do try to respond to bug reports, and Austin helps out, too.
At the moment, ie8 crashes because of
http://code.google.com/p/winetricks/iss ... ail?id=219
and I don't have a complete workaround ready (see that
bug for where I had to stop for the day).

Good idea. How? "winetricks ie7" is broken. Ie7 won't
start. And, ie7 does work with Crossover, but won't work on
https sites (the Crossover folks did verify this for me).
Do you know any tricks to getting ie7 to both start and work
with https sites?

p.s. Good idea not to use IE for anything or Windows
for that matter. But, some idiot sites still will not
work with anything other than IE. It is sad.
p.s.s the site in question does not block ei6 (I asked
them). The site has a lot of really crappy code.
