Wine16 for Windows

I'm curious. I know that the full Wine package doesn't seem to work on 64-bit Windows, even with the various subsystems. But I wonder if it might be easier just to port the 16-bit subsystem.

Has there been any work at all on this sort of thing?

What did you try? I mean the "Wine package doesn't seem to work on 64-bit Windows" part.

Further, for "16-bit" stuff, try using DOSBox (http://www.dosbox.com/)

Dunno, it wouldn't work with me...
Though I still was also curious enough to try it))
Any other experiences?)
