Super MNC, Unable to join matches, never passes queue.

Hello,
I'm trying to get Super MNC running under Wine with Steam, I can start
the game up perfectly fine and join training matches with other
players, but I can't join a non-training match, when I try to it puts
me in a queue which I never leave. Here's the ouput which includes

err:winediag:SECUR32_initNTLMSP ntlm_auth was not found or is outdated. Make sure that ntlm_auth >= 3.0.25 is in your path. Usually, you can find it in the winbind package of your distribution.

Install winbind.

I've now installed the samba package which provides the needed
library, but I'm still unable to join any matches. Here's the output
