[1.5.2]-Blizzard Game Downloader Crashes?

Hi,

Blizzard's game download program is crashing on WINE 1.5.2.
When run, program downloads game for few minutes then crashes with segfault.

Both WINE 1.4.x and current WINE 1.5.2 show this problem.
Both Linux Mint 12 KDE 64Bit and current Kubuntu 12.04 LTS 64Bit show this problem.

I really want to play StarCraft 2 game(which I purchased) on my Linux.
Any help would be appreciated...

For World of Warcraft this problem can be fixed by disabling the Peer-to-peer download option. I dont know whether it will help you, but it might be worth a try.

Hi,

Tried disabling "Peer-to-peer" download option
but the Blizzard download program is still crashing in WINE.

Hi,

Seems like the previous Ubuntu WINE 1.4 PPA and current WINE 1.5 PPA
install both 32Bit and 64Bit WINE.

If you are having problems with WINE 1.4/1.5 on Ubuntu
then type the following in a terminal:
"export WINEARCH=wine32"(no quotes)

Above fixed my problem with Blizzard game download program.
