fixing icons when Wine doesn't get 'em right
Re: fixing icons when Wine doesn't get 'em right
I use IcoFX for the same purpose. It's a Windows program that runs well in Wine, with an intuitive graphical interface for viewing and extracting icons. http://icofx.ro/DanKegel wrote:http://jamesmcdonald.id.au/linux/how-to ... s-in-linux

would be a nice enhancement.

Ooh. How safe and reliable would this be for Wine to just run? Ithttp://jamesmcdonald.id.au/linux/how-to ... s-in-linux

Re: fixing icons when Wine doesn't get 'em right
winemenulauncher can do much better job then that. Whole problem is not extracting an icon - that should be fixed for good (as long as no one breaks it again). but finding the right one in the right place - that's exactly what this program can't do.DanKegel wrote:http://jamesmcdonald.id.au/linux/how-to ... s-in-linux
