Help needed with font installation

Photoshop is not recognizing fonts copied to the C:/windows/fonts folder (CS2 9.0.2 and Ubuntu Hardy 64) Permissions issue? Something I'm being blockheaded about and completely missing? Help greatly appreciated... need fonts to finish project. Thanks!

Not sure, but think you need to install fontforge.
sudo apt-get install fontforge

Using latest Wine 64, Ubnutu Hardy 64, PS CS2 9.0.2. Trying to install Adobe fonts, (in C:/windows/fonts) but not recognized by Wine /Photoshop. Thanks to anyone that can let me know what (most likely something obvious) thing I'm overlooking!

Tried FontForge.... still no new fonts. Anybody out there have an idea as to why fonts aren't showing in PS CS2? Install issue? Permissions? Wrong folder? Anything?
