outlook 2007 RPC over HTTPS

Newbie here.

I have installed the latest version of Wine and Office 2007 on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. The install went fine. My issue is getting RPC to work over HTTPS. I am getting an error that says that outlook cannot connect to the server.

Any tips on getting Outlook to work? This the only way I can get my corporate email.

Outlook doesn't work in plain Wine. If you really need it, try Crossover, as they have some hacks to make it work somewhat better.

Will any other email client do RPC over HTTPS with my company's exchange server?

Last I knew, the whole point of "evolution" was to be a Linux-native
workalike to Outlook.

Your company doesn't have OWA? I use native Firefox with it, and it works fine.
