I'm hopping among various computers, that have AMD, Nvidia, Intel graphic cards. High end and low end. I still have the same issue among all of them. In games such as:
Halo
Prey
Scarface
Almost any shooter...
The mouse is out of control, you can't get anything done. This is a new "Regression" because this never happend with older versions of Wine. I also have an issue with games NEVER going into fullscreen properly (This isn't a problem with wine, rather it's because of Unity >.>) This has been a problem for a few releases now, I'm shocked it hasn't been fixed due to the severity of it
To see the problem I'm having take a look at the Halo demo (It's only 128mb or so) and try to play the game. The axis or something is completely off. The mouse moves, but it's weird, I turn to the left it moves down sometimes, other times it moves to the right or up. Almost like trying to play looking thru a mirror, but worse
For example, I have 1.2.34 (in special folder, where Wine have own bin/libs/share), and 1.4-rc6 recently installed as current.
1.2.34 I'm using for the game named "Rochard" (cause this is Wine compiled with mouse patch). In 1.4 it cannot recognize mouse axises, regkey= "mouse warp override" doesn't help, but it works with patched Wine.

So as of Ubuntu 12.04 the wine xserver is broken with any wine later than 1.4 RC1 it appears. I certainly hope this is fixed with Ubuntu by 12.04..this could be bad.
