Install program firefox addon

Some windows programs when installed, install a firefox addon.
Can this also happen in wine? I am trying to do this, The program works but it doesn't install its firefox addon in ubuntu 11.10 to function properly.

Are you talking about native Firefox. or Windows Firefox installed in Wine? The former won't work, the latter might.
