Wine drive configuration file

Hi all!

I've tried for three hours to find where winecfg keeps the path of the
fake drives; oppositely to what the documentation says, is not in the
registry. Can please someone help me? (i need to create a fake drive
just for an application and then remove it; i could do it with a bash
script if i find the config file for that...)

Looks like my link to the cdrom is messed up on the default profile.
Ignore that.

I've already tried to create a new symlink and to remove the existing
ones, but it does not affect wine... When i run winecfg it brings me all
back to the previous configuration.

It shouldn't, and doesn't here. Just a thought: do you have more than one wineprefix, and if so, are you sure the wineprefix where you created the symlinks is the same one you ran winecfg for?

Also, what version of Wine are you using? If it's not the latest development release, upgrade.

I have one question related to different prefixes. Is the OP using su,
sudo or the root account when running winecfg?

Eu instalei o convertxtodvd no wine e ele não encontra o meu cdrom. Meu dosdevice está da seguinte forma:

Your cdrom drive is related to two different devices. Open winecfg
and see if it is related to both d: and f:. If so, remove the f:
entry.
