Problem Initializing the video display

Mpeg2Schnitt 0.90 and Wine 1.3.37 running on Ubuntu 10.04.

Every time I load a video onto this program I get this message "Problem Initializing the video display". Anybody who has an idea on how to resolve this?

Try using virtual desktop (enable via winecfg).

Tried that with different resolution but still didn't work.
