The Sims Medieval Problems

Post by Iago »

Hi,
I'm trying to run The Sims Medieval from the retail disk, with no
patches or mods, only a No-CD Fix, but the game crashes after the
loading screen, without going to the menu

Using Ubuntu 11.10 x86 and Wine 1.2.37
Installed mfc42, vcrun2005, vcrun2008 and vcrun2010, using winetricks;
Windows version was set to Window 7 before installing

My system is an Intel Processor and a Nvidia 9500GT Video Card, the game
runs fine on windows.

Using a cracked exe is not supported here.
Wine 1.2.37
No such version. Do you mean 1.3.37 or 1.2.3? If the latter, upgrade.
