Problem opening Adobe Indesign in Ubuntu Linux 7.0

I have installed Ubuntu 7.0 64-bit OS on a 64-bit hardware - Hyper Threading enabled P4 processor.

Photoshop 7 and Pagemaker seems to be working fine. I installed Adobe Indesign without any problems. But, I am not able to run Indesign
Once i execute the Indesign application, a window appears which loads all the plug-ins and files but disappears.

The log is huge, i have pasted the begining of it.

Hi Guys,

I received a the new version of ubuntu 8. I installed it on a different machine and installed all the available updates. I also installed Wine 1.0-RC2. I installed Corel Draw 11 and it seems to be working fine except that only 3 program came up in the Wine Menu. Earlier i couldn't even open corel draw.

But, i am still having problems with Adobe Indesign 2.0.1. When i execute the exe, a windows without any graphics opens (no splash) which shows its loading all the files and plug-ins but the windows freezes at "calling Late Initializers" .

Can anyone help me with this?

Which version of InDesign?

Earlier i was using Indesign 2 and even the version of Wine was 0.9.46.
I upgraded ubuntu to 8 with all the updates + wine version 1.0-RC2.
I downloaded the trial version of Adobe Indesign from the link mentioned in the Wine Bug page.

But, the problem still exists.

Hi Guys,

I have upgraded Wine to 1-RC3, the latest version. But, the problem with Indesign still exists. The windows comes up and crashes even before it can open the application.

can anyone help me with this?
