I have had it working , not so long ago so would have been with the same version of wine. Its was working perfect, but know just cant get it going. I will try and file the bug, see if I can do that. Hopefully in the meantime on of you boffins will figure out what to do
Did it work with the same Ubuntu version? Maybe you had some additional winetricks installed? I'm not using any wii stuff. It's very hard to do some remote diagnosis. In some rare cases wine was broken by kernel updates, but I don't think, that's the case here.
