Error when trying to run a recently app

Post by stepnjump »

Hi guys,

I'm trying to run Dragon Naturally Speaking 9 Essentials and though everything seem to have installed properly, I get an error when invoking Dragon (either via the GUI or by typing wine appname from the CLI under Ubuntu 11.04.

If someone could give me a hand, I would really be grateful. Here is my error: http://paste.ubuntu.com/745620/

Thanks in advance

In the first paste I forgot to include the extension.
http://paste.ubuntu.com/745643/

wine natspeak.exe
fixme:reg:RegSetKeySecurity :(0x64,4,0x379fd8): stub
fixme:dbghelp:fetch_thread_info Couldn't open thread 30 (87)

What does that mean?

There's no AppDB entry specifically for DNS9 Essentials, but you might take a look at the howtos in the other DNS9 versions.
