Wine 1.3 - Team Fortress 2 Won't Load

Wine 1.3 - Team Fortress 2 Won't Load

Installed Wine 1.3 from Ubuntu 11.10's Software Center, installed Steam from official Website, loaded up Team Fortress 2. Nothing.

Nothing happened at all.

So... what do I need configure to get it running?

No. The instructions tell me nothing.

All I'd like is for someone to tell me exactly, step-by-step what to do. I had already checked the AppDB and found no helpful info at all.

The AppDB has step-by-step instructions. What part are you having trouble with?

I figure it out.

If anyone else is trying to load up TF2 and is getting absolutely nothing, beyond the "Preparing to launch" screen, then check and see if your email has been verified with Steam.

I didn't think that was important, but apparently the game will not start without a verified email.

...Go figure.

Hope someone else finds this useful.
