Uhh, yes?

CS5 works on Wine 1.3.32 as far as I've tested. Only problem was that certain fonts crash the application even if you use atmlib (or try several versions of it).

I've used PS7 for years without problems. Lately I didn't use it but updated wine several times. Now, even by going back to 1.3.18 etc. the gui doesn't seem to be redrawn completely. Thus impossible to use at all!
How is such possible? I've used the old .wine as for not reinstalling everything.
Thanks

If reverting doesn't fix it, then it's not a regression in Wine. Either you messed up the wineprefix, or some other update to your system is causing the problem. You can test the former by reinstalling to a clean wineprefix.

Just came across this problem in Wine 1.4-0ubuntu4 (Ubuntu 12.04b2, 64-bit). The solution for me was changing the setting to "Windows 7."

Hi,

sometimes wine prefixes get messed up just by updating wine for a long time, e.g. from wine 1.2 via 1.3.x to 1.4. So it may be wise to start with a new wineprefix and reinstall the applications.

If it worked in the past with emulation mode set to something different than "WinXP" and/or "Win7", I'd say, it is an regression, though maybe not with a high priority.
