Starcraft 2 MOUSE problem

Post by Niterios »

Hi, and thanks for taking your time to read this.

I recently installed Starcraft II using play on linux. The game is running perfectly and smoothly, but I have a problem with the mouse. In the games menus the cursor seems to be completely unsynchronized with where the mouse should be. For example I can see buttons glow as if I were hovering over them when my cursor is in a completely different place. Nevertheless it seems that clicks are always made where the cursor indicates. In game, the screen scrolls as if the mouse was at the edge of the screen when it is far from the edge. I can only move the cursor within a very small area in the middle of the screen without having the mouse think it is at the border and start scrolling the screen.

Please, reply if you have any idea as to what could be causing this problem or how to fix it. I tried looking around myself and found some of the winecfg settings that might be involved to no avail.

Since you are using POL, you will have to contact the package
maintainer for assistance. We have asked them to look at problems and
file bug reports as they make modifications to the base Wine code that
the Wine project cannot support.

Oh, I'll go ask around on their forums then, wasn't aware they made changes to the wine code. Thanks a lot!
