Hello,
Im new to ubuntu 11.04 and wine and playonlinux..... im trying to play fallout 3 on my system... the disk installs perfectly ever time but when i try to run fallout 3 it gives me a no cd/dvd DRIVE message... i have tried going into wine config and adding a drive and setting it as cd-rom and mapping straight to the mounted Fallout 3 folder in /media.... i even tried downgrading to wine 1.2.3 instead of 1.3.28 i believe? any help would be greatly appreciated

1.3.28.

Fallout3. There is a How-To on using Fallout3 with DLCs and other
hints/tricks for installing and running this program. The URL for the

same issue
i followed ur link to the installation of fallout 3 in wine... i unistalled POL and wine and started over fresh... i went through the istructions step by step and still got the same no cd/ DVD DRIVE found.... any further advice?

Don't personally have this game, from the DB no one else has this issue. Ifi followed ur link to the installation of fallout 3 in wine... i unistalled

in like 5 seconds, but not sure on the forum/wine policy of discussion of
such matters) and see if that patch allows you to play. I know for dragon
age 1 I had to do that.
