alien skin portable

One of my favorite plugins for photoshop is alien skins exposure. I found an portable standaloneversion that works great in windows xp but dosent work i wine. Is there anybody else that have tried the portable alien skin exposure and made it work .

What happens when you try to use this program? Poor/unusable graphics
or does the program just fail to execute?

It fails to execute, wont open.
