Ok, I found what is winetricks, and I'm aplying right now for there:

d3dx9_36
Multisampling : Enable
orm : fbo
rendertargetlockmode : auto
Useglsl : enable

Then, inside ClientLodaer check Safe mode, right?

I will check when all is downloaded..

With my last post, EU starts, but fonts looks like squares, and the game looks ugly...crash at 30 secs.

Compiling 1.3.6 with patch as Davvve sais. I will report....

ie6, d3dx9_36 and other options as Davvve sais from winetricks.

Game starts, but Text is unreadable. I only see squares. I don't tried to login again because with squares as text is impossible to play

Can you tell me, in Options, what is Quality Shading, and What option in order is High or Higher? I see the texts in options with Squares too

Ok, the trick is install corefonts from winetricks.
Now works like a charm.

I'm back to EU

(until my pedcard is out of peds...in 3 or 4 hurs

Im rated it gold only for the 180 ' mouse thing and the need of the patch . Can we find a mousepatch for wine 136 it would be wonderful. Played 5 hours yesterday without a crash .

Yes, is a little uncomfortable, but in this game is not so important. This game is more about economy management thath hability.

Yes. Strange graphics was because Safe Mode. Once Quality Shading is High, all looks Ok. I supposed thath shading in Medium, will play better, but in Shading medium, I see strange behaviour in graphics (all more red, strange white lines randomly.....), instead only worse graphics. The only strange behavious was square fonts, bit this was solved intalling corefonts from winetricks.

I see the game a little slow, but this is caused because my machine is not the last, and needs RAM and so on...anyway, play is possible...

This type of problem usually occurs when setup d3dx9_34.dll is missing from your computer. This dll file can be downloaded from here.

Download it and then extract the downloaded zip file to the Windows System32 folder, which is located in Windows Drive.

Hey, can anyone help me with EU...keeps crashing

It crashes right after login (I don't get to see the avatar).

I'm trying thru "PlayOnLinux", regular wine and winetricks. As PlayOnLinux is the friendliest, I'm posting its settings:
Playonlinux 4.0.12,
wine 1.3.29
glsl enabled,
direct draw renderer: tried both opengl AND gdi
offscreen rendering mode: FBO
multisampling: enabled

I copied dx9 file to BOTH system32/ and EU/bin32 folder.

In EU (V12) I've disabled sound, tried both safe and normal graphics mode, both windowed and fullscreen. It's always the same.

any ideas? I'll post log files when I get home, but does anyone have experience with crash right after login?
