.Net Framework installation error Failed to load the runtime

I trying to install .net 3.0 over winetricks. 2.0 installs just fine, then when 3.0 starts everything is fine until after i hit the install button. The terminal gives me this:

It seems to me like it is failing to load the runtime but I dont know why or how to fix it. Has anyone else had this problem?

I using Linux Mint 9 with a clean WINEPREFIX on wine 1.3.2 and past versions have also yielded this result.

the issue was just fixed with the new version 1.3.4. Dotnet30 has been successfully installed by winetricks.

I would say not. I have the updated version of wine (for Linux Debian) And i get the EXACT same error in trying to install .net (any kind)

Sometimes you also need the latest winetricks to make things work
(just an idea)

Exact same error!

I need dotnet30 to run an ebook reader called Evolve.exe to read one of my textbooks

Any thoughts as to how to fix this?
Where do I start?

Messed around and installed comctl32.ocx using winetricks.
Tried downloading and installing VisualBasic6-KB896559-v1-ENU.exe for the latest comctl32.ocx and mscomctl32.ocx
At this point I got another error when trying to install dotnet30

• err:msi:ACTION_InstallFiles Failed to copy L"D:\\c01b41371cd339f67e\\SITSetup.dll" to L"C:\\windows\\Microsoft.NET\\Framework\\v3.0\\Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0\\SITSetup.dll"

The weird thing is the file had been copied!
Can anyone tell me more about this error?

Installed msi2 using winetricks and the first error is gone
