ms office 2007 beep sound

Friends,
I am using ms offfice 2007 with wine 1.1.37 in fedora10. Everytime i open or
close the office applications, it produces a horrible beep sound. Is anyone
successful in switching it off.

That version of Wine is very old and no longer supported. Upgrade to at least 1.2.

Everytime i open or
close the office applications, it produces a horrible beep sound. Is anyone
successful in switching it off.

I've never had that problem with Office with any version of Wine, nor has anyone else reported it.
