Wine and BabasChess 4

I just cannot make the VECTOR font named "Alpha" display correctly while running Wine and BabasChess 4.0 from the ZIP archive ( it does not need to be installed ). All BITMAP fonts work fine. Error message that Wine gives :

fixme:font:WineEngRemoveFontResourceEx (L"Z:\\home\\user\\Desktop\\BabasChess\\Data\\font s\\BabasChess Alpha.ttf", 0, (nil)): stub

Please help me ! Thanks.

Note that it is not a normal text font but a chess font in a tiff file.

Copy the ttf to Wine's Fonts directory.

Can you please tell me exactly which directory it should be as there seems to be conflicting information on Google. THANKS SO MUCH !!!

Assuming you're using the default wineprefix, it should be ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts.

I put the .tiff file in here :

/home/user/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts

Could it be that I don't have a .tiff file viewer installed on my system ?

EDIT : It is a ttf file and I put it in that directory and it did not work. I even installed imagemagick.
