kodak esp 3250 (esp3250) install .net2.0

I managed to get .net2.0 installed quite easily with winetricks via the instructions on this site yet when I put the printer installation disk in it still insists on installing .net2.0 then returns "a previous installation of .net 2.0 is in progress. please cancel and press any key to continue" or something pretty close to that.

Any ideas?

Try with a clean prefix.
