Baldurs Gate II
When I downloaded Baldur's Gate II it wouldn't let me install it because it "was not marked as executable" So I ran it in the terminal and this debug thing came up
WeiDU v 21700 Log
Setup-BGT.exe
ERROR: Unable to find CHITIN.KEY in:

FATAL ERROR: Failure("Unable to find CHITIN.KEY: run me in an Infinity Engine game directory")
WeiDU Timings
stuff not covered elsewhere 0.009
TOTAL 0.009
I'm new to Linux and I'm not exactly sure how to troubleshoot.

free to use where? I don't think they ever started giving it away... though it is a very old game. I was wondering if you knew that your download actually worked... have you put it on a Windows machine? it may be corrupt or who knows what else.Mindrifter wrote:It was a platinum game under free to use
I just am not sure what the error means.. and I have the game and it installs and plays fine in Wine.
Maybe run game "native" http://gemrb.sourceforge.net/wiki/doku. ... tart#gemrb
If you need just "install" game maybe use "unshield" (InstallShield CAB file extractor )
