single click makes two clicks

I'm using ubuntu 10.04 and wine 1.2
in arcanum, a single click makes two slow clicks, which makes the game unusable.

how to make it act as a single click in the game?

Did you check the Applications Database:

is the entry for this game. It is rated both Platinum and Garbage.

There are several bug reports for this game as well. You may want to
check through them to see if a solution to your problem is offered. If
the problem is not there, please open a bug report so the developers and
others will be aware of this issue.

thanks. for the reply,

I checked the game bugs and details in the appdb, but no one reported the double click problem. the game install on the appdb mentions the official patch for the game, i've installed it with the unofficial patch. the game installed ok, crashed once during the intro, but actually i can get into the character creation portion, etc. but the thing that kills the game is that double click, because double click makes changing the stats correctly, impossible.

how do i get the info needed for a bug report?
