I realize I'm a real noob when it comes to this type f thing, and please forgive me for this, but I need some serious help on installing and running DDO on my mac.
I just downloaded Wine and winebottler, and downloaded from the DDO site the file (ddostandard.exe). When I tried running this, I got an error message. I am sure I am doing something wrong.
Can someone Please walk me through everything I need to do?
In the easiest way?
Thanks a LOT

in other words... WineBottler is not supported here...AGC wrote:Honestly that doesn't help so much, but thanks anyways
there are some things common to Wine usage on OSX that might be part of the problem though.... Run it in a virtual desktop... because X11 on Mac OS X is lacking some functionality it needs.... or use Wineskin or Crossover, cuz I've heard people have used both to run DDO before.

Kronenberg's WineBottler site.
However, you can try MacPorts, Fink or as suggested, WineSkin.

And it is one HUGE download, 3.06 GB as well.thanks, but the only issue to that is:
When I checked it a few days ago I only saw a linux version, not a mac
and I did not see any mac help on it at all.
That will have to wait until Sunday morning.
