How to install a specific Wine Version in Ubuntu 9.10?

I would like to install Wine 1.1.42 on my Linux Ubuntu 9.10.

Version 1.2-rc4 is installed i would like to dowwngrade to Version 1.1.42.

How can I do this?

According to
https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-wine/+arc ... es_filter= it's
not available anymore.

You could uninstall wine package, then look in your apt-cache dir... the
package might still be there.

If not, you'd have to compile it yourself.

If there's a regression, you might also want to report it (
http://wiki.winehq.org/RegressionTesting).
