Music error when playing Morrowind

Alright so i installed the morrowind game of the year edition without a problem applied all the patches and stuff, but when i start the game a wine error message comes up saying Music error: cannot create filter graph. I tried lowering the hardware acceleration via winecfg but to no effect, any help would be appreciated

What messages do you get when you try running the app from the terminal?
