Wine Not Working

Post by Th3Blaze »

I have upgraded my computer to Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid.
After it, I tried using it to run a windows program and it said something about the executable bit.
I have tried it on many programs, but it still won't work.
Any help? :D

This appears to be a known problem with Ubuntu related to changes in Nautilus. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1441315

I'd call it a "good idea," not a problem ;-) The text could be
clearer, which should be a valid UI bug for Ubuntu. But the idea is
quite sound IMO. Wine runs toxic crapware entirely too well to do
otherwise.
