in this version of wine installshield installers not work in many app: gtaiv, tom clancy hawx, damnation, clive barker jericho, riddick chronicles dark athena, resident evil 4, cold fear, doom3, dinasty warriors orochi, batman arkham asylum, avatar, farcry, assassins creed, fallout 3, anno 1701, anno 1404, simpsons hit and run, fear, world racing, world racing 2, pro evolution soccer 2008, street racer syndicate, flatout, crazy taxi, virtua tennis, virtua tennis 3 and many others

Is wine 64 bit or 32 bit? There are issues with the 64 bit version of Wine and we highly recommend using the 32 bit version.

However you are welcome to continue to comment on this failure with increasing versions of Wine.

You might also add Civilization IV Complete and World In conflict to that list. I am using OpenSuse 11.2 64bit.

Only just installed a Linux distribution having used Windows for many years previously. I have to say the transition has been very smooth and I find I prefer this to the Windows 7 RC I had previously been using.

Possibly because of http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22066

Already fixed in the current git, or wait for Wine-1.1.42.
