Any newer game I try to start (Painkiller, Portal, Half Life 2, Homam V, ...) hangs with current message in console repeating to infinity:
fixme:d3d:unloadNumberedArrays >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GL_INVALID_ENUM (0x500) from glDisableVertexAttribArrayARB(reg) @ state.c / 3016
My conf:
Athlon X2 64, GeForceGo 7600
Fedora Core 8, wine-0.9.58, driver: nvidia 169.12, kernel 2.6.24
Direct rendering: Yes
In other native linux Open GL Apps I encounter no problem as well as in old games (Warcraft III, Counter Strike 1.6)..
Has anyone an idea what to do ? .. I am becoming desperate ...
Thanks

Have you disabled / removed compiz/beryl? Try upgrading Wine to latest wine-0.9.60lordbeedoo wrote:Any newer game I try to start (Painkiller, Portal, Half Life 2, Homam V, ...) hangs with current message in console repeating to infinity:
