Office 2007 disappearing pop-up menu

Post by StaSZek »

Hi All!

I want to "save as" document or insert a page numbers but the pop up window disappears when I mark a position on the list that may me unrolled.

And when inserting a shape in Power Point the whole sheet turns blank so that i can't see anything that's on it.

Any solutions?

I'm using Office 2007 Home and Sudent and Wine 1.1.40 on Ubuntu 9.10 with Gnome.

Both are known bugs.

For the menu, just be careful where you move your mouse pointer. It is possible to select items from a submenu if you don't inadvertently mouse over another menu item.

For inserting objects, the screen should refresh once you've released the mouse button. Use the keyboard arrow keys to position objects precisely.

Thanks for the "cheat" with Power Point. But I can't find a way to deal with disappearing submenus. I even tried to use arrow keys to do it but it's still the same. Could you precise how to do it?

Finally got it!
Instead of using mouse cursor press left alt key once or twice to show the letters responding to menu options and then operate using letters arrows and Esc keys :)

Thanks a lot dimesio
