VB 6 IDE on wine?

Will the Visual Basic 6 (part of Visual studio 97) IDE work under wine?

Has anybody tried?

If it will work, then I'll be able to move completely to a Linux box for my work; if not, then I'll have to install a copy of windows in a VM on it.

Probably; the best way is to just try. Do note that things like the VB6 runtime will have to be installed through winetricks ( wiki.winehq.org/winetricks ).

It would be nice to know if this classic IDE works on recent Wine.
