Wine 1.1.26 crash on civ IV

Hi,

recently I did update my system to xorg 1.6.3 mesa 7.5 and intel driver 2.8.0 and glew , prior to this update I had this game working ... now it gives me this error :

Bam, right there if your problem is anything like mine its your video drivers apparently but I can't get an answer from anyone to tell me how to fix it.

no it is not I I hav tried Intel 2.7.1 / 2.7.99 / 2.8.0 ... with this setup of xorg it does not solve it ... what solve it is reverting back to my old setup ( xorg 1.6.2 mesa 7.4.4 )

Well it seems the problem is Mesa 7.5 +glew+Intel 2.8.0 wich enable the new Gallium 3D support http://wiki.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/gallium , most likely wine doesn't like it.

Reverting back to Mesa 7.4.4 + intel 2.7.99 fix it for now ... I l wait to see what mesa 7.5.1 will bring or if wine new release will fix this

Try disabling FBO (OffscreenRenderingMode http://wiki.winehq.org/UsefulRegistryKeys).

fbo -> Previous crash
pbuffer -> Got me into the menu but freeze on loading game
