Uninstall Aplications

Hello, i'm new in linux and wine. I installed several windows applications using wine and now i can uninstall them. When i try to uninstall iTunes, crashes when stops the services. Windows Live Messenger don't work fine and can't be uninstalled. I use the app for uninstall win apps of wine but seems not working. Any ideas???

i can't uninstall apps so that is the problem

So, basically, just delete the folder of the app?? I thought something can go wrong. And is funny becouse i read all the FAQ and i didn't see that part jeje

That's not what the help section said. Deleting ~/.wine basically deletes *all* installed Wine apps that were installed in that directory (the directory is also known as a Wineprefix). It's still safe to do, system-wise.

If you want to keep your other installed Wine apps, just go into ~/.wine/drive_c/ and find the directory/ies where the app is installed. You can remove the directory quite safely - it'll probably just leave around some dead links, no longer used DLLs and some junk in the registry, just like in Windows.

Unistalling Photoshop CS2 [PROBLEM]

Can someone help how to uninstall photoshop cs2... their is a erron while opening photoshop cs2. it says that using invalid user account and when i click ok it closes the whole photoshop. i just want to uninstall and install again so that i can change the serial number. i think im having problem in the serial number.

I also deleted the whole folder of Adobe but when i install the photoshop again it pops me the window that says if i want to repair and remove.

when i click repair, serial key is not need to be typed again. help

Just use separate WINEPREFIX for it if you do not want to touch ~/.wine.

I did what davinci said. I found an app called "Easy Cleaner" and delete the app entry from Add/Remove list.

I don't know what WINEPREFIX do so could anyone explain me pliz?

And why you just don't try with CrossOver with the Photoshop???
