Add serial number to Win Apps so they run?

I have a few applications that start but fail due to missing "personalization" in other words the software license key can't be found. In all other respects Photoshop 7 appears to want to run ok.

So the question is how to I "install" the license key so it can run under Wine?

Normally I guess that is installed in the Windows Registry file which Wine does not access.

BTW. My Macromedia applications work and ask me for the license key. Once entered they seem to function fine. MX Studio.

You need to install the application under wine, not run it from the
windows partition.
