Word for Windows question

hi, i just switched to ubuntu from Windows XP. i think that i can live with it, but maybe not the word processing software that comes with it. my question is, with respect to wine, can i just run Word under wine on ubuntu without the Windows XP OS? thank you.

Office 2003/2007? Yeah, you'll need to install it under wine of course.
