Cannot get eBay turbo lister to start

Hello
I am trying to get eBay's turbo Lister 2 to work on my ubuntu distribution 9.04 something of Linux. It seems to install OK but then when trying to start nothing happens. There is no error message, it just will not start. I do not know what my next step is as I am new to Linux? Thanks for any help - Jim
