problem with ms office

Friends,
I installed MS office 2k7 with wine 1.1.15. I am able to open the
applications and work on it. However if i try to copy a figure from
powerpoint and paste is on the word, it is not working. The reverse is also
not working.

In addition, i am not able to move the figures in the work file to the
appropriate positions. I dnt understand what is going wrong. Any suggestion
on how to resolve this wud be of great help to me.

Dimesio,

It dosent show any error. I dnt have any output in the console. I am not
able to do copy and paste between powerpoint and word.

Even i tried the same after adding the overrides given for the bug 15401.
But nothing worked.

You shouldn't have added those overrides; the bug report says explicitly that they will break Powerpoint's ability to save files and are hence not a viable workaround. This is a known bug, and you will just have to live with it until it's fixed.
